Where to watch
A project conceived and coordinated by Sara Dodig Baučić, director of the Croatian ensemble Camerata Vocale Split, supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, the city of Split and the Schola Cantorum Association.
Sara Dodig assembled a collection of traditional music from every region of Croatia, transcribing, arranging and recording it with Camerata Vocale Split as part of her doctoral thesis.
Each composer received one of those recordings, together with information about the region it came from and its cultural and musical characteristics, and was free to “transform” it — putting written music in dialogue with electronic means.
My piece is called Izvor Voda. The album was released by Croatia Records as Camerata Vocale Split — Transformacije.
