Film scores
Original music for features, documentaries and short films, from the first read of the script to delivery of the masters.
About
Two backgrounds that rarely meet, and that in my work do the same thing: look for the right sound for a story.
I am a musician and electronic engineer with a deep interest in both music and technology. I started with classical training in piano and cello at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory — the foundation everything else grew on.
Over the years I played in several groups and had the chance to conduct a small youth orchestra of twenty musicians. In five years we gave around eighty concerts, taking our music from Rome down through southern Italy. It taught me how much teamwork and a direct relationship with an audience matter.
As a composer I write scores for films and documentaries and music for art installations. What interests me is music that lives inside the image: the kind that holds a scene together without asking to be noticed, and that steps forward only when it should.
The other half of my work is music technology. I have worked with companies in the field on instrument development, and that same research led to the Guitap. I write about music and technology for Age of Audio , where I publish reviews and in-depth pieces on instruments and software.
For me music is passion, sharing and discovery. Every project is a chance to learn something, and to meet someone.
What I do
Original music for features, documentaries and short films, from the first read of the script to delivery of the masters.
Writing for acoustic forces, choirs and chamber ensembles, often in dialogue with electronic means.
Scores written for exhibition spaces, where the audience walks through the sound instead of sitting down to listen.
Work with companies in the field on instrument development, and technical writing for Age of Audio.

Send me a couple of lines about the project and your timeline. I usually reply within two working days, with a first idea of how I would approach it.
